Most PT PMA setups are completed within 4-6 weeks, depending on the business sector and how quickly required documents are ready.
In most sectors, yes – a PT PMA can be up to 100% foreign-owned under Indonesia’s Positive Investment List. Some sectors have ownership caps, and a small number are restricted. We check your sector before you commit.
As of BKPM Regulation No. 5 of 2025, the minimum paid-up capital for a PT PMA is IDR 2.5 billion (approximately USD 150,000) – reduced from the previous IDR 10 billion requirement.
A PT PMA is a full legal entity that can generate revenue, hire staff, and sign contracts. A Representative Office can conduct market research and business relations but cannot generate local revenue – it’s often used as a staging step before full incorporation.
Yes – we manage investor and work KITAS, RPTKA applications, and ongoing foreign manpower compliance as part of our Compliance & People service.
Ongoing obligations include quarterly LKPM reporting to BKPM, monthly/annual tax filings, and license renewals. We provide continued accounting, tax, and compliance support after incorporation so you stay in good standing.
